About Rampage
Feel free to view our site to learn more about some of the great opportunities we are creating for our young baseball and softball players in our community.
Over the past years, Waco Rampage Baseball and Softball Academy has grown significantly. What began as just one 9 man team has now grown into a Sixty five plus players organization.
Everyone involved with Rampage Baseball and Softball looks forward to our continued growth and development, and anxiously awaits our opportunity to provide more children in our community with a unique chance to be a part of something special.
Many players and families approach our Academy for the wrong reasons, looking for an easy way to succeed. We are looking for players who have the physical ability to play at a Highest Level and those players wanting to develop and reach this level of select ball. We are looking for players that will be committed to us as we are to them. The greatest accomplishment you can give a player is the drive to work hard and the desire to win. Does this fit you or your player? If so, you might be RAMPAGE material.
If you and your player would like to be part of WACO RAMPAGE Please arrange a tryout with one of our teams.
Please contact Tony Pena at (254) 315-7259 or Steve Flores at (254)715-1104 or email at waco254rampage@yahoo.com for more details.
Thank you for choosing WACO RAMPAGE Baseball and Softball Academy.

Rampage Mission

Waco Rampage Baseball and Softball Academy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the proposition that all Waco children should have the opportunity to learn and play baseball or Softball. Waco Rampage Baseball and Softball Academy is located in the South Waco Area Neighborhood which is the most economically challenged and racially diverse neighborhood in the city. The population includes a large number of Mexican American and African American kids. The main reason for this disparity is economic. Poor neighborhoods lack access to public baseball and Softball parks facilities and families lack the money to pay for select baseball and softball lessons. It is unacceptable that in Waco Texas, the City of a larger Baseball and Softball Complex, impoverished inner-city children lack the opportunity to learn and play select baseball and softball– a skill that could learn team work and friendship in their life.
Waco Rampage Baseball and Softball Academy hopes to change these statistics. We believe baseball and softball can transform the lives of at-risk youth by allowing them to take calculated risks and demonstrate courage by overcoming a natural fear of the select sports. Baseball and Softball it is a foundational skill for a lifelong healthy lifestyle and it opens access to the world of baseball and softball -oriented outdoor activities. This is especially important in Waco and greater Waco where we have been blessed with a lager baseball and softball complex.
Our Mission is simple:
To bring select baseball and Softball to inner-city Waco children
Our goals:
-
Teach all children to play baseball and softball
-
Provide inner city youth access to select baseball and softball teams to help diversify the sport
-
Promote players as a foundation for a healthy, active lifestyle to help lower obesity rates and diseases like diabetes
-
Create access for inner city youth to the world of outdoor recreational opportunities that enrich lives, promote environmental stewardship, and increase usage of our public parks.
