Thanks for dropping by Waco Rampage. In the Select Baseball and softball world, we have found much of the information related to teams, tournaments, news, and information to be spread out all over the internet. For a coach, parent, or player and players and parents wanting to join our team.
That is why we have created our news and update page. Here you will find alot of information about us, the teams and tournaments and things going in the organation.
We are coaches, parents, and fans of Youth Baseball and want to assist in any way we can to further baseball in the youth levels. |
Waco Rampage Practice schedule 2013
Here is the field practice schedule for the fall and winter season. Each team will have two (2) days to practice.​ Saturdays and Sundays are open **If no tournaments or camps are Scheduled for that weekend**. If your team would like to pratice on the weekend just let us know date and time.

Baseball field maintenance checklist.
Sunday Routine:
Mow the outfeild as needed
Water the infeild and drag
Clean the restrooms.
Rake loose dirt off grass along base paths, mound circle, and infield edge
Rebuild around home plate area and bases areas
Dispose of trash in and around field and bleacher areas
Pick up trash in and around the complex and dispose of all trash.
Daily Routine before and after Practice:
Water the in feild ( Before Practice)
Water and Drag the infeild after last practice
Rake loose dirt off grass along base paths, mound circle, and infield edge
Rebuild the mound and home plate area and cover areas with tarps
Rebuild the bull pen mound and home plate area
Replace and tamp any loose divots in turf areas
Dispose of trash in and around field and bleacher areas

The Managers, Coaches and Staff of Waco Rampage are 100% (Non-Paid Staff) VOLUNTEERS.
Why Rampage?
1. Cost is very low. Unlike other select team in and around The Waco area.
2. We have a Baseball and Softball complex. (No need to rent a field and practice is aways in the same location.)
3. You don't paid for extra instructionand or coaching, You don't pay to try-out or traveling expenses for manager or coaches .
What is the cost to play for the year?
1. What is the cost to play for Waco Rampage?

Typically we try to keep the cost as low as possible, But that is up to each team and team manager to fundraise and help sub-the cost. We are very affordable and charge much less than other programs in the Waco area.
2. What does the cost include?
-
The cost will cover uniforms, hats, insurance, background checks, team registration, game/practice balls, practice equipment.

instruction/coaching, traveling expenses for manager (ARE NOT PAID) We are 100% volunteer,

Bat bags and helmets are available but have to be purchased seperate or paid for through fundraising or sponsorships.
3. How often will we play and will we travel?

We try to stay with-in a 1 hour drive time from home. We will also play 2 to 3 tournament a month. Most tournaments are in Temple, Burleson, Taylor, Austin, Round Rock, Dallas/Ft Worth, and Waco. However, there may be time we go futher out.
4. What do I bring to tryouts?

Please be fully dressed in baseball and softball pants, shirts tucked in, and have all equipment such as glove, bats, catchers gear, etc... Defensive Mask are highly reccomended for softball so if you do not have one, you will be required to buy one before we start.
5. Can I help coach and/or particpate?

Yes we welcome parents to help. We belive that this is a bonding experience between player, parents and coaches. Before you come out please let your coach know you would like to help.
